Dr. LaVerne Lewis is a business navigator, educator, and a global idealist with a passion for believing she can make a difference in the lives of everyone. Lewis owns LaVerne Lewis LLC, a business venture and navigating firm.
She was appointed by Oregon’s Governor Brown to the Board of Directors on TriMet, to serve District 6, which covers East Multnomah County, OR. Dr. Lewis also serves on the Mt. Hood Community College Board of Education as Board Member-Elect and serves as vice president on the NW United Methodist Foundation Board.
Dr. Lewis is passionate about creating positive social change and has consulted and worked across the globe, including Cuba, Brazil, Greece, Tanzania, Morocco, Peru, Costa Rica, Thailand, and China.
